2. How do I apply for an internship or full-time career opportunity? Submit your resume online for any of our listings.
3. What type of majors does eBay look for? We look for students in all fields but particularly in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Human Factors, Information Technology, Finance and Marketing.
4. What are some examples of the available positions?
- Information Security Engineer: BSCS/MSCS, TCP/IP protocols, C, Java, Perl, PHP, Python, HTML, JavaScript
- Project Managers: BS/BA, knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- QA Engineers (QART): BSCS/MSCS, Java, C++, PERL scripting, Oracle, HTML, Windows or Unix
- Research Assistant: BS/MS/PhD, Java and/or C++, highly scalable applications and/or distributed systems
- Software Engineers: BSCS/MSCS, C++, Java and J2EE, including servlets, XML, SQL and RDBMS
- Business Process Analyst: BA/BS. Excel, PowerPoint, strong quantitative and communication skills Business Development Manager: MBA, consulting or investment banking experience preferred, strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Trust and Marketing Manager: MBA, Quantitative background, Finance and Accounting experience
5. How long will the internship last? Most internships take place in the summer for 10-12 weeks.
6. What benefits do I receive as an intern? Interns receive competitive salaries and holiday pay and attend events such as at seminars on eBay Values, history, technology, and business; company meetings; a summer picnic and other company sponsored events during your internship. Participation in social activities through the summer for interns only.
7. Where is eBay’s corporate campus located? eBay’s corporate headquarters are in San Jose, California. We also have offices throughout the United States and around the world.

eBay Inc.’s Summer Intern Program is a structured 12-week program for registered students who will return to their university upon completion of the internship.

- Intern Orientation and Welcome Lunch - Brown Bag lunch discussions with Executives - Social events with interns and managers, including baseball game, dinners, opportunities to volunteer with local non-profit organizations - Final Intern Presentations
All interns will have:
- Clearly defined projects and objectives with specific desired results
- Mid-summer and final evaluations
- Mentor/buddy assigned to help provide guidance and advice
- Potential to discuss opportunity for offers for full-time positions post-graduation
