eBay''s Analytics Platform and Delivery team is looking for a strong lead engineer to design,develop and build a Hadoop platform which can support analytics across different dedicated teams. The primary job responsbilities are

• Define, design, and implement platform and data sourcing applications for Hadoop clusters.
• Work with different application, Product Management and Operations teams to develop and benchmark innovative map reduce solutions that meets analytics needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles. 
•  Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes.
