Job Description

Looking for a senior analytics manager leading a team of practitioners with advanced degrees that will utilize business, problem solving, data mining, and analysis skills to develop key scalable analytic frameworks and to deploy models and algorithms for eBay's Affiliate Marketing teams.  This role will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and recommendations to the senior leadership team on improving portfolio performance and identifying opportunities.

Job Qualifications

    The successful candidate will be a highly analytical individual, with a complete comfort with and fascination in data. Extremely focused on intelligent, scalable ways of working, this person will have:
7+ years of experience in managing highly quantitative analytic projects, ideally at a leading management consulting firm, internet marketing or advertising company
3-5 years experience with Affiliate Marketing experience a plus
5+ years experience utilizing various statistical techniques in SAS, R to develop algorithms and predictive models.

Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills as well as demonstrated skills in fact based analysis, including the ability to persuasively present insights and recommendations to senior management.
MS in Statistics, Mathematics or other quantitative areas.
At least 5+ years experience in SQL and understanding of data warehouse architecture.
High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth cross functional environment.
A passion for understanding and serving the unique eBay community.

Job Salary

Salary commensurate with experience
