Job Description

Serve as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for one or more business units/support teams in support of the delivery of reporting and analytics solutions. Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners - ensuring goals, customer satisfaction, increased productivity and improved business processes are achieved
  • Consult with senior business leaders to identify issues that can be informed by metrics and analysis, and deliver data-driven recommendations addressing those issues
  • Analyze and document reporting and analytics requirements utilizing standard methodologies and processes
  • Identify, define, collect, understand, and track key business metrics for new and existing initiatives
  • Work with and lead cross-functional teams to analyze how metrics should be used by the business
  • Leverage standard and ad-hoc reporting and analyses to review historical information and identify opportunities to influence process improvement and cost drivers
  • Proactively manage high-level, complex customer reporting issues and reporting/analytics projects
  • Provide 1st-level support to end-users
  • Train stakeholders on how to effectively access and use reports and reporting/analytics tools

    • Proven track record of developing and delivering customer-focused presentations

    • Ability to translate detailed and complex data into understandable conclusions and offer valued solutions
    • Ability to communicate complex analytics in a structured, clear, and business-focused manner
    • Must be a proven top performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy and fast growing workplace. Ability to work under pressure of meeting deadlines

    Technical Skills


    • 5 + years of data analysis, analytics, and reporting experience
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and lead cross-functional projects
    • Solid experience with standard requirements gathering, documentation, and testing processes
    • Expert-level SQL knowledge
    • Experience using one or more of the following to develop rapid and creative solutions: Excel, Access, Visual Basic, .NET, or statistical packages
       

    Education


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business (operations or management reporting focus), or a related field
