Job Description

Provide support in areas of candidate generation, development and identification. Act as a search expert for a functional area(s) by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements.  Identify, qualify and forward viable candidates to hiring managers. Identify opportunities to positively impact diversity hiring efforts. Proactively conduct research and networking opportunities. Stay current with industry trends, developments and changes.
Specific Job Duties include:
• Attend initial hiring manager meeting to understand scope of recruitment
• Strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research
• Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, employee referrals
• Screen candidates for basic qualifications, availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, and relocation needs.
• Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate
• Coordinate background checks through external agency and conduct reference checks
• Attend job fairs and participate in community networking events
• Complete projects as assigned by the Staffing Department

Job Qualifications

This position is a contract position.
We are looking for a motivated self starter with a strong research and recruiting background including the following:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3+ yrs Professional Staffing experience in a corporate setting with preferred experience in high tech, human resources or other fast paced environment
• Thorough understanding of on line databases and job boards. Candidate must have the ability to implement targeted sourcing initiatives. Candidate must have the ability to generate a high volume / high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines
• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency
• Strong organizational and multi tasking abilities are essential to this position
• Candidate must be very flexible and willing to support multiple functions and/or business units
• Ideal candidates will be highly motivated and self directed and possess high energy
