We are looking for a seasoned product management professional who is passionate about driving eBay’s e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for helping grow eBay’s business by harnessing internal and external developer innovation around e-commerce capabilities such as product catalog, product search, merchandizing, inventory management, etc. More specifically, you will:

-Become a subject area and technical expert for a specific set of e-commerce capabilities
-Understand the competitive landscape and business opportunities for these capabilities
-Define a services strategy that allows these capabilities to be easily consumed by developers across a wide variety of client platforms – desktop/mobile browsers, rich client apps, mobile apps, ip tv apps etc.
- Define a set of business models that drive the consumption of these capabilities by a wide variety of internal and external businesses
- Work and influence teams across the organization to deliver the services and associated business models
- Establish and monitor a set of metrics that measure the success of the overall strategy

1. 8 years+ experience with product development/architecture related to web applications and/or web services
2.  2 years+ experience with formal/informal product management of an application and/or platform product
3. Strong oral and written communication skills
4. Proven ability to execute on large cross team projects
5. Prior experience with the e-commerce domain including an understanding of applications, business processes and economics highly desired
