Job Description


  • Research and implement FDR product control file and other system settings to support existing and new business critical initiatives while adhering to change management procedures. Judgment decisions are a routine part of this responsibility.
  • Provide first level approval of FDR product control file and other system settings insuring adherence of all change management procedures and that intent has been appropriately met.
  • Assist and execute test plans prior to implementing FDR system changes into production. Compile results to review with fulfilment and Senior Manager for approval to move to a production environment. Make recommendations where necessary for additional system changes.
·         Provide technical support relating to FDR to the business units within Bill Me Later, eBay and PayPal, while maintaining standards of level of service. Support includes seeking new functionality to support a changing environment, trouble-shooting system issues and assisting end users with knowledge of intricacies of FDR system and how it interrelates with Private Label system settings.
·         Facilitate meetings as needed with the business units we support to discuss and resolve issues, questions and servicing related items.

  • Participate in periodic on-site audits of all FDR procurement centers as needed.
  • Manage the overall quality of our system of record, (FDR), and related collateral (statements, plastics, etc.) via testing methodology, audit, and inventory management
  • Manage FDR reports for accuracy, research and resolve errors and report to Senior Manager
  • Perform daily and weekly audits to ensure all products meet PayPal standards. This will include pulling accounts for all the major cycle dates, research and resolve any issues, opening and managing tickets with FDR as needed.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to government regulations
  • Develop and manage a testing methodology to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage system access and security
  • Research issues which affect transmissions, data integrity, and collateral quality.
  • Will perform special projects, and assist with production support as necessary.

Job Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge of FDR System including product control file, pricing, inserting, DMM tables, security administration, letters system is required. Experience in Private Label and Strategic Communications platforms a plus.
  • Highly knowledgeable of the credit card and revolving credit industry. 
  • Project Management experience helpful.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred or commensurate job related experience required.
  • Experience with other credit card processing systems a plus
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines and flexible to work extra hours as business needs dictate.
